This course is open to students who have completed the EMT Basic course and need to renew their EMT certification. It provides review and update of EMT-Basic course content and focuses on hands-on practice of all skills thoughout the course. It meets for three to four sessions. Attendance at all sessions is mandatory in order to receive a course completion certificate and the 24 hours of CE, no partial CE hours can be issued.

Prerequisites
Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Current immunizations. Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.

Registration

Cancellation
You may cancel your registration by giving NIHE 30 day’s written notice. You will receive a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee. Once a course has been rescheduled there are no cancellations of the rescheduled class. Unopened books may be returned for a full refund minus a $25 restocking fee. There are no refunds for cancellations that are done less than 30 days prior to the start of the course. You may reschedule to another start date for a $100 rescheduling fee.
