This course is open to students who have completed the EMT Basic course and need to renew their EMT certification.  It provides review and update of EMT-Basic course content and focuses on hands-on practice of all skills thoughout the course.  It meets for four sessions.  Attendance at all sessions is mandatory in order to receive a course completion certificate and the 24 hours of CE, no partial CE hours can be issued.

Mandatory course textbook is: Refresher: Emergency Care and Transportation of the Sick and Injured, Second Edition American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS)  Please go to Buy Books & Products to purchase if you do not have access to the NEW 2nd edition of this book for the class.
